We are seeking a passionate, purposeful and customer centric leader to join our team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer. Job Description:•\tSupport development and implementation of Crankshafts and Gears manufacturing systems for new powertrain programs in southeast Michigan and Ohio.•\tUtilize machining process knowledge, particularly steel and iron metal cutting and grinding to deliver an efficient and optimized process regarding quality, costs, timing, and footprint.•\tLead equipment installation, power on, run capability, and equipment handover to the powertrain plants. •\tInitiate bids, evaluate, recap bids for equipment purchase; work with Purchasing to write and place orders.•\tWork with OEMs, suppliers, Product, and Plant engineering teams to resolve engineering and program delivery issues.•\tInterface and coordinate project related items such as facilities, safety, ergonomics, material handling & kitting, tooling, and gauging.•\tSupport discrete event simulation for constraint analysis; work with Industrial Engineers (IE) to assess and improve throughput.•\tTravel up to 100% to SE Michigan and Ohio Manufacturing Plants during equipment installation and launch.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
