Summary:

Prepare prescription lenses for the application of thin-film coatings. 

Pay Class and Pay

 

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $15.95 - $18.58 per hour

 

Essential Responsibilities:

Prioritize job processing flow as dictated by work ticket incoming and outgoing to T-40. Validate correct lenses are with proper work ticket

Prioritize backlogged job flow processing using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

Place loaded basket on ultra-sonic dispersion holder, remove basket after completion.

Place basket in oven for degassing process.

Place clipboard containing corresponding basketwork orders in carousal to be processed by AR Coaters.

Inspect/replace ultra-sonic water, water filters and osmosis element.

Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.

Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.

Re-inspect lenses then properly insert into holders on ultra-sonic insertion basket.

Validate correct lenses are with the proper work ticket.

Inspect individual lens surfaces for defects, wash lenses to remove all oils and surface debris.

Re-inspect lenses then properly insert into holders on ultra-sonic insertion basket.

Education:

        High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience & Background:

One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred

Endorsements required for T-40 Operation for use of Ultra Sonic Equipment and Chemicals

Language Skills:

Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Reasoning Ability

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

General problem solving abilities

Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
