Job Description
This is a 6-week assignment with the potential to transition into a contract-to-hire role based on performance and company needs. The role requires physical activity, including standing and reaching machines.
ResponsibilitiesReport to the lead and carry out assigned duties such as setting up and cleaning machines.Operate, clean, and set up machines throughout the day.Move drums approximately every 15 minutes and conduct quality checks on tablets every 15 to 30 minutes.Work in the compression area, filling hoppers with powder to feed into compression machines.Ensure the press is clean and properly set up before starting each batch.Label drums filled with tablets and check tablet weights, hardness, and size.Adjust machines as necessary to maintain adherence to instructions and batch documents.Clean and lubricate presses, and install punches and dies.Maintain sanitation practices and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Conduct friability tests on all products.Follow all safety and lockout/tagout Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Support other departments as assigned and accomplish all other tasks as needed.Essential SkillsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Experience in machine operation and compounding.Familiarity with conducting quality checks and operating within regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, food, or medical device industries.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment is ideal.Understanding of FDA regulations is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
