Job Title: Manufacturing Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our team for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will efficiently and safely operate machinery, ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery.Perform simple maintenance and report malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.Set up and adjust the machine to run at different sizes.Obtain correct materials for operation needs from the warehouse or staging area.Organize production flow, ensuring materials are available, and schedule breaks while adhering to production time schedules.Document work accurately, check for quality and compliance, and monitor products for defects.Assist with the inventory process.Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor.Perform all work activities safely, wearing personal protective equipment as required.Complete production assignments timely, in accordance with departmental schedules.Sign off on DHRs in the proper places and fill in pertinent information according to SOPs.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.Basic math skills.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. regularly.Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours a day.Ability to see and distinguish colors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production line operations is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
