Manufacturing Manager - Production Equipment Maintenance

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (K) to support Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

Manages PEM employee activities within the production maintenance occupation including production maintenance planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, production maintenance provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenanceDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesParticipates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliersManages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience working in Production Equipment MaintenanceLeadership experience in a formal or informal capacity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant fieldExperience working with Machine Tool RepairExperience Chemical Process LinesExperience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union-represented workforce

Summary pay range: $111,350 – $150,650
