Manufacturing Manager

**Description**
We are seeking a Manufacturing & Quality Manager to lead production and quality operations, and operational quality systems for our next-generation intraoral scanner devices. This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) excellence across manufacturing, while maintaining a compliant and high-performing Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manufacturing Operations & Production Management
Manage all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics in manufacturing.
Ensure production targets are met with efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Oversee data collection and analysis (yields, defects, throughput) to drive improvements.
Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to improve productivity and reduce waste.
🔹 Quality & Operational Quality
Oversee day-to-day quality functions across production.
Maintain and improve QMS in accordance with ISO 13485 and internal standards.
Lead root cause investigations, 8D corrective actions, and internal audits.
Drive initiatives for scrap reduction, first-pass yield, and inspection effectiveness.
Support document control, training programs, and process validations.
🔹 Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop manufacturing and quality teams, balancing staffing with production needs.
Foster a positive team environment built on trust, performance, and accountability.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.
🔹 Supply Chain & Production Planning
Align production plans with demand forecasts and ensure material availability.
Collaborate with procurement to manage supplier performance and incoming quality.
Monitor inventory of critical parts and consumables to prevent shortages.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or operations.
2+ years in leadership roles with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ideally in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 or similar).
Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and CAPA methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and team-building skills.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
