**Direct Hire Automation Technician** + **_All Shifts Available_** + **_Holland, MI_** + **_$27-32+/hour_** + **_Competitive Benefits_** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team in a highly automated facility. Positions are available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with most openings on off shifts. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, and the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. Technicians will work mandatory every other weekend shifts and have the opportunity for voluntary overtime during weekdays. This role involves working closely in a team setting, utilizing laptops for frequent and fluent communication, and engaging in maintenance of new, highly automated machines. **Responsibilities** + Engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production. + Troubleshoot, execute regular preventive maintenance plans, and modify equipment. + Provide technical assistance to operators and other departments regarding automated systems. + Perform routine maintenance checks and identify malfunctions on automated machinery and processes. + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment including mechanical and electrical components and systems. + Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment. + Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, completed repairs, equipment issues, and replacement part usage. + Install new and automated systems and equipment, including wiring, configuring controllers, and setting up sensors. + Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency. + Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper operation of production equipment. + Conduct daily checks of production equipment during up and downtime. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment. + Strong experience repairing pneumatic systems. + Understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, pneumatic, and computer control systems. + Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to complex technical issues within automated systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with mechanical components, including servo motors, actuators, AC motors, sensors, etc. **Why Work Here?** **_Enjoy fully company-paid medical benefits, 17 paid holidays in 2025, and 3 weeks of vacation. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, emphasizing 5S3K principles. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr. The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start.
