KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

About the role:

Buffalo Tungsten is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our powder production business.  As a Maintenance Technician, you will conduct preventive maintenance and complete repair work orders for production equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues, dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts, determine changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and use of various instruments, conduct building maintenance tasks, keep accurate records, operate a forklift and perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

This role will be based at our site in Buffalo (Depew), New York.

Schedule

Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

Your Background & Profile:

Have a Safety-First mindsetPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to restore equipment functionality.Inspect and test machinery to identify potential problems and implement solutions before failures occur.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to perform accurate repairs.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements.Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, in CMMS for accurate tracking.Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Education/Experience

Minimum of High School Diploma or EquivalentTechnical certification or associates degree preferred.Previous experience in manufacturing maintenance or other related fields is beneficial

Pay is dependent on experience with starting pay rate of $30 - $37/hour
