Manufacturing IT Technician
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking an IT Manufacturing Technician to support client based in Trenton MI. You will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Plant Operations team. **Job Title:** IT Manufacturing Tech | Direct Hire Role **Location:** Trenton, Michigan | Days and Afternoons **Pay Range: 40,000 - 45,000 + Potential to earn OT + Benefits + PTO** **What's the Job?** + Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, networks, and production-related IT systems within a manufacturing environment. + Assist with setup, installation, and maintenance of plant floor technology devices such as PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, HMIs, and more. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking in both office and plant floor environments. + Support plant-specific applications including ERP/MES systems, production monitoring tools, and quality management systems. + Monitor system performance, document support activities, and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff for resolution. **What's Needed?** + Associate degree or equivalent coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred but not required). + 0–2 years of IT support experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting (internships or co-op acceptable). + Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, LAN). + Familiarity with ERP/MES or production systems is a plus. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Ability to work multiple shifts.
