YOUR ROLE

Manages, directs, and coordinates activities within a department, groups of departments, and support for manufacturing departments. These groups may be unionized or non-unionized and may perform various functions, such as product development, testing, process engineering, and industrial engineering.

In your daily job, you will:

Provide assistance in analyzing and solving complex engineering problemsAssist in obtaining resources to effectively carry out engineering activities.Productivity improvementNew technological strategiesCapacity studiesAssist in planning departments.Coordinate activities with subordinate supervisors and assistants who determine their work priorities.Supports  ISO50001, ISO45001 and  TISAX  activitiesLead automation efforts and projects across the operationBudget Management and business plan processMonitoring of KPI during project ramp up phase (safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)Responsible for manufacturing inputs towards the business plan ( investment, headcount, plant capacity utilization)Understands Materials and Inventory management conceptsProvides technical inputs for commercial project quotationsSafety- First Mind Set

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

Degree in Engineering ( Electronics, Mechanics, Industrial, or related field)Minimum of 3 years as a Supervisor/Manager of professional-level employeesAutomotive Industry Experience in electronics manufacturing environmentEnglish advancedQuality Systems  Knowledge IATF, VDA6.3.Experience with CAPEX Management, Forecast, budget and accurate executionProven experience optimizing efficiency, yield and OEEExperience in New Product Introduction ( Launches, Change Management)Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Tools, 8D, root cause analysisStrong Succession Plan development skillsSolid planning and organization skillsEffective communication and negotiation skillsTeamworkHands-on and proactive attitude
