Manufacturing Engineer II

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the business by sustaining support by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities. Solve problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Uses problem analysis to help in developing new process and procedures. Provide analysis of data in support of product and process improvements. 

JOB DUTIES:
 

Develop and implement proposals to improve production processes. Follow up on customer complaints and improvement requests. Design or acquire manufacturing tools; validate reliability using statistical methods and document per current procedures. Define and optimize manufacturing methods using Six Sigma and Lean tools to reduce costs, improve quality, shorten cycle times, and accelerate product delivery. Maintain and update engineering documentation, including BOMs, standardized work instructions, and procedures. Monitor and analyze key metrics such as Yield, Scrap, and Overall Assembly (OA); lead projects to achieve targets. Coordinate and execute improvement projects ensuring compliance with performance goals. Drive corrective actions and follow up on audit findings and customer issues, involving relevant teams. Support production leaders and supervisors with projects, activities, and process-related inquiries on the shop floor. Promote teamwork, company values, and continuous training to maintain compliance with required certifications.

 

YOU MUST HAVE: 

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process improvement or production engineering. Full professional English proficiency for effective communication with suppliers and corporate teams. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, statistical validation. Experience with CAD software for layout design and manufacturing process optimization.
