Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to streamline the manufacturing operations of our Fiber Optic Rotary Joint division, oversee product testing, and improve product assembly quality. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of manufacturing production processes, mechanical design experience, and the ability to work effectively within a small team.

ResponsibilitiesObserve and analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.Develop and implement quality control processes and cost-saving measures.Evaluate the effectiveness of existing production equipment and fixtures.Prepare, execute, and document product qualification testing.Oversee the full lifecycle of a product's manufacturing process, including assembly, packaging, and quality control.Educate new employees on current manufacturing and workflow processes.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards such as OSHA and AS9100.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineering experience.Process improvement skills.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, specifically in fiber optics or aerospace AS9001.Ability to troubleshoot effectively.Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.Experience in product testing and AS9100 standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering field.5+ years of manufacturing experience.Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, statistical tools, and Microsoft Office programs.Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification is a strong plus.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $51.00/hr.
