Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the plant. This role involves working within production areas to identify scrap and enhance processes to boost efficiency. Responsibilities include process and fixture design, writing and updating procedures for operators, and providing necessary training. Additional duties may involve line optimization and conducting statistical analysis. Responsibilities + Identify and reduce scrap within production areas to enhance efficiency. + Design processes and fixtures as needed. + Develop and update operational procedures for operators. + Train operators on new procedures. + Optimize production lines for improved performance. + Perform statistical analysis to support process improvement initiatives. Essential Skills + Proficiency in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies. + Expertise in statistical analysis and statistical process control. + Ability to drive project reduction and process improvement initiatives. + Six Sigma certification. + Bachelor's degree in Engineering. + Strong mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of stamping, plating, and coating. + Experience in the automotive industry. Work Environment The company specializes in stamping and gaskets production. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, sleeves, and safety glasses while on the production floor. The work environment is safety-focused and conducive to long-term growth and development. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Danville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
