**Job Summary**
As a **Manufacturing Engineer** , you will be responsible for multiple welding areas, where the engineer will drive process improvements, introduce new products, implement engineering changes, and ensure that all required documentation is available to manufacture products on time and correctly. The role includes evaluating the feasibility of new models or engineering changes, creating production routings, making plant layout modifications, developing APQP documentation, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting the achievement of departmental and company objectives, with a strong focus on safety.
**What You Will Do**
**Quality Management:**
+ Knowledge of quality tools such as Pareto analysis, measuring equipment, 8D report creation, FPY, COPQ, and PPM.
+ SAP proficiency.
+ Root cause analysis experience.

+ Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and feel comfortable with change.
+ Quick adjustment to new tasks or teams.
+ Openness to receiving feedback.
+ Schedule flexibility.
**Engineering – Manufacturing:**
+ Schedule flexibility.
+ Collaborates in problem-solving and in the development and documentation of engineering specifications and practices.
+ Works with basic and routine components of the engineering discipline within a manufacturing environment.
+ Complies with applicable engineering standards, policies, and practices.
+ Escalates unusual engineering issues and manufacturing-related concerns to senior staff.
**Manufacturing Processes:**
+ Practical knowledge of welding processes.
+ Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
+ Experience creating assembly procedures and training production operators.
+ Ability to perform time studies and develop assembly routings.
+ Knowledge of cutting machines, press brakes, and machining centers.
+ Experience using SAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo Parametric, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
**Problem Solving:**
+ Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement ICAs (Interim Containment Actions) and PCAs (Permanent Corrective Actions).
+ Coordinate and lead “stop-to-fix” activities and follow up on action plans.
+ Strong analytical skills to proactively address issues before they result in safety risks or quality defects.
**Required Profile**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
+ **Languages:** Intermediate English.
**What you Have**
+ Support Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams with requirements and inspections related to welded products.
+ Collect data, modify documentation, and review manufacturing fixtures and tooling.
+ Support the certification of each assigned workstation.
+ Provide hands-on follow-up on the production floor for activities related to established processes, ensuring they are functioning properly and driving continuous improvement.
+ Participate in cross-functional meetings and CPPD meetings to review product improvement initiatives.
**Additional Information**
+ **Location:** Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
+ **Work Model:** On-site, six days a week.
