Job Summary:
The person in this role will assist in the technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance with safety standards, and environmental requirements. Participate in the identification and implementation of improvements and modifications to equipment and processes. Monitor the reliability of equipment and processes; identifies and addresses problem areas. Provide training and development to technical personnel in operations and support areas. Provide engineering support in the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes and follows blueprints/drawings to ensure product and customer specifications are met.Assists the manufacturing operations team in modifying tools/equipment for continuous improvement.Responsible for tracking the daily value stream expense report.Responsible for ensuring the correct use of tools/materials.Applies and explains blueprint specifications to manufacturing operations and ensures the correct procedure for their implementation. Assists in the evaluation of risks, benefits, and alternatives.Develops new manufacturing technologies within the process. Responsible for the proper documentation of current production and NSI/NPI products (PPAP, APQP, etc.).Inspects the manufacturing work environment to detect safety hazards or violations and determines appropriate corrective measures.Explains the tools, techniques, and documents used for process monitoring and control.Responsible for data collection, including safety findings, quality issues, CAV Electrical and CAV Torque certifications, daily production data, and root cause analysis.Degree Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Intermediate English proficiency.Skill Descriptors
Lean Manufacturing:
Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D, SWOT, Pareto, fishbone diagram.Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).Familiarity with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and visualization software.Data analysis applied to manufacturing, as well as VS capability analysis.Engineering
Working experience in manufacturing and assembly processes.Decision-making and critical thinking:

This position is located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday (6:24 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), with the option of shift changes and weekend work.
This position requires travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and international).
Relocation is not available for this position.
