Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to support the operational side of PCB/electronics manufacturing. While having Department of Defense (DOD) experience would be beneficial, it is not a requirement. Experience with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) will be a significant advantage. Responsibilities + Develop and implement process improvements in electronics manufacturing. + Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Provide technical writing support for manufacturing processes. + Collaborate with teams to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality. + Oversee the implementation and operation of SMT and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. Essential Skills + Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and process improvement. + Experience in electronics manufacturing and PCB manufacturing. + Strong technical writing skills. + Knowledge of SMT and AOI processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with AOI machines is a bonus. + Understanding of RF electronics manufacturing. Work Environment This position operates in both office and production/manufacturing environments. The role offers flexibility with potential for contract-to-hire or direct placement, depending on the situation. PTO and holidays are negotiable. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
