Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer provides leadership, planning and technical support for the introduction of processes for new product development and existing manufacturing. Implement efforts to improve product and process quality. Provide technical leadership for the production team and execute VCP projects. Responsibilities include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, and equipment. Aggressively initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality.

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production

Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.

Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation.

Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified.

Assist with troubleshooting of production and laboratory equipment. Help with documenting the investigation.

Assist with commissioning and qualification protocol generation, execution and review for manufacturing and laboratory equipment used for cGMP operations

Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals

Drive lean manufacturing initiatives

Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations. Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas

Required Qualifications

BS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related technical degree and 3 years experience or associates degree with 5 years experience, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control testing, metrology, engineering, validation, or the GEHC OMLP program graduate.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $95,040.00-$142,560.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
