Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer at our facility where you will be primarily engaged in OEM assembly and composite bonding. Your role will involve hands-on troubleshooting, analyzing defects, executing corrective actions, and writing work instructions. You will assist in day-to-day operations with a focus on lean values, continuous improvement, and root cause corrective action.

ResponsibilitiesPlan sequences of operations, estimate time required, and write process sheets and bill of materials.Determine manufacturing methods and processes from part drawings and other engineering data for the fabrication and assembly of complex products.Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and materials, including make or buy decisions and facility layout for new or revised products.Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing problems.Provide technical support to operations.Consult with design or project engineering concerning the suitability or producibility of complex molds, fixtures, or parts.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other Engineering field.US Citizenship.2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Troubleshooting experience.Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.Proficiency in CAD software.Understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience interpreting manufacturing drawings and 3D models.Experience with continuous improvement programs like Kaizen, ACE, or 6S.Work Environment

This position is located at our Holt location and operates on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm. The candidate will gain aerospace experience and have access to Udemy after 6 months. Enjoy 12 holidays annually. This is a 1-2 year contract opportunity with potential for direct hire upon approval.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holt, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $64.90/hr.
