Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for new and existing medical device products.Optimize production workflows, layouts, and material handling systems to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.Conduct time studies, process capability studies, and statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and quality control plans.Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product introduction and ongoing production support.Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA), and GE's internal quality procedures.Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence.Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the medical device, automotive, or aerospace industries.Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.Experience with process validation, statistical process control (SPC), and other quality assurance tools.Familiarity with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements for medical devices.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
