We are looking for a smart, solutions oriented **Manufacturing Engineer** to join our team in Kolin, Czechia!
The Manufacturing Engineer provides key technical support for production operations and ensures that production processes are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards, with the goal of increasing productivity, reducing costs, and supporting continuous improvement. The role focuses on process optimization, workplace ergonomics, new product implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Identifying and resolving manufacturing issues and deviations using problem-solving methods and root cause analysis, while collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
+ Providing technical support to quickly resolve issues and ensure consistent product quality.
+ Setting production parameters, processes, and equipment, as well as providing manual support for setting up tools, fixtures, and adapters.
+ Analyzing and optimizing production processes with a focus on reducing cycle time, capacity, takt time, and quality, aiming to increase manufacturing efficiency, reduce production costs, and ensure consistent product quality.
+ Initiating and driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Poka Yoke methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, eliminate errors, and create a safer and more organized work environment.
+ Creating and updating production documentation, specifications, and operating manuals to ensure clear communication of requirements, proper execution of processes, and compliance with quality standards. Cooperating with TWI coordinator to support training processes and ensure standardized work instructions across production.
+ Replacement and implementation of new machines, equipment and tools with a focus on cost reduction and safety projects. Preparation of technical documentation for tenders according to standards, concept proposals, budget approval, equipment qualification, pilot runs, and related production documentation.
+ Implementation of new products, design of production line layouts and material flow, and assistance in the selection of new machines, tools, and jigs.
+ Collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D to ensure compliance with specifications, company standards, and safety regulations, including fire and environmental protection.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
+ University degree in a technical field or a technical secondary school diploma with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
+ Experience with process optimization and new product introduction.
+ Ability to read technical documentation and drawings.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Good organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive approach to tasks.
+ Immediate proficiency in English (ability to read technical documents and communicate effectively in writing).
**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is a plus
+ Proficiency in 3D design software such as NX and Pro/ENGINEER is considered an advantage
