Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Engineer
**Location:** Urbana, OH
**Pay Range:** $36/hr plus benefits
**Contract to hire position (6 months** )
**What's the Job?**
+ Read and interpret part drawings and aviation-related specifications.
+ Create and understand manufacturing work instructions.
+ Identify failure modes and determine Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
+ Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and customers.
+ Identify opportunities for tooling and fixture design improvements.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience with part and assembly drawings.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook.
+ Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and feature checking gauges.
+ Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
+ Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred along with capital equipment projects.
+ Needs to be a U.S. Citizen
