Manufacturing Associate
Job Title: Manufacturing AssociateJob Description

The Production Associate III is responsible for producing standard and custom medical devices to meet customer and Quality requirements. This position involves following standard work instructions and company policies while working collaboratively in a team environment.

ResponsibilitiesFollow department work instructions and adhere to customer and industry standards for dental products.Operate mechanical equipment as needed, following work instructions.Visually inspect medical devices and perform operations according to work instructions.Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap.Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection.Complete all required documentation.Maintain a safe and clean work area.Engage in cross-training for most manufacturing procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential SkillsExperience in assembly, manufacturing environment, production, packaging, and inspection.Ability to follow work instructions, operate machinery, and troubleshoot issues.Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the medical device industry is preferred but not required.Excellent people skills with the ability to resolve problems, communicate professionally, and coach, train, motivate, and lead/mentor others.

Work Environment

The role operates on the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday. The work environment is a regulated open manufacturing floor with strict safety procedures. Employees will be working at a workstation, involving sitting and standing throughout the day. Adherence to safety protocols and SOP documents is required due to the regulated environment and security checks are in place.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
