**Job Title: Manufacturing Associate**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic and technology-focused team as a Manufacturing Associate I, responsible for producing standard and custom medical devices. This role involves operating Zirconia Milling Machines and adhering to work instructions and company policies in a collaborative team environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform machine setups and operate 5+ milling machines.
+ Load raw materials and make necessary adjustments on the machines.
+ Conduct basic maintenance on the machines.
+ Follow department SOPs and work instructions while adhering to customer standards.
+ Visually inspect product quality and escalate issues as necessary.
+ Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap.
+ Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection.
+ Complete all necessary documentation and training.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area, use appropriate PPE, and adhere to safety standards.
+ Cross-train in one or more areas of manufacturing.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operating, quality control, and cleanroom environments.
+ Knowledge of production, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
+ Ability to operate machines and follow SOPs.
+ Prior manufacturing or assembly experience of at least 6 months in a controlled environment.
+ Exposure to machine operation including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
+ Ability to read SOPs and willingness to learn and be coachable.
+ Good manual dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools.
+ Reliability and good attendance.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is structured for collaboration with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm in the Zirconia Milling department.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
