Job DescriptionWe are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing and Projects Manager to join our operations team in Monterrey, Mexico. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects while optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources strategically, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support our organizational goals.
Plan, schedule, and execute manufacturing projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality specificationsOversee daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimizationLead and supervise manufacturing teams, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunitiesIdentify process improvement opportunities and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteManage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reporting to senior managementCoordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operationsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, analyzing data to drive informed decision-makingEnsure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocolsManage stakeholder communications, providing project updates and addressing concerns proactivelyDevelop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and post-project evaluationsQualifications**Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations or production managementMinimum 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environmentProven experience leading and managing cross-functional teamsStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory managementProficiency with ERP systems and project management softwareExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong organizational and time management abilitiesBilingual capability in Spanish and English (required for Monterrey location)**Preferred Qualifications:**
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExperience with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizationKnowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)Experience with supply chain coordination and vendor managementAdvanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
