**Job Title: Manual Pack Operator** **Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated Manual Pack Operators who will play a crucial role in our assembly line. As a Manual Pack Operator, you will be responsible for manually assembling boxes, packing brick bags, instructions, and other items into packaging for shipment. This position requires standing for 12-hour shifts in an assembly line format, working shoulder to shoulder with peers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble boxes, pack final brick bags, and instructions into packaging.
+ Keep machines in good condition and maintain a tidy work area.
+ Perform various production line positions to ensure smooth operation.
+ Report production metrics and ensure compliance with quality standards.
+ Contribute to continuous line flow and minimize unplanned downtimes.
+ Meet standard hourly production results and handle line operation reporting.
+ Collaborate and maintain excellent communication with peers.
+ Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in packaging, production, and quality inspection.
+ Ability to handle production equipment and perform quality assurance checks.
+ Material handling and labeling skills.
+ Familiarity with assembly line and repetitive tasks.
+ 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Basic and special knowledge in packing and material handling.
+ High School Diploma/GED preferred.
+ Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts.
+ Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean, state-of-the-art facility in Colonial Heights, which houses packaging operations, a warehouse, and a training center. Enjoy a climate-controlled environment with access to a canteen and breakroom. Locker rooms are available, and personal items must be stored safely. Note that phones, jewelry, fake nails, and hoodies are not permitted on the production floor.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
