Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual/CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in a custom job shop environment. This role involves machining precision parts for pump repairs using stainless steel and carbon steel materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tight tolerances and be comfortable collaborating with engineers to interpret and execute detailed prints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine custom parts and components for pump repairs using manual and CNC equipment.Operate lathes, mills, boring mills, and grinders to perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional machining.Work with tight tolerances (as close as .0001\") to meet engineering specifications.Manufacture large components including shafts (up to 8\" diameter and 144\" length), sleeves, rings, and more.Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate production and repair of parts.Operate Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and perform rigging as needed.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Strong understanding of machining processes and working with steel materials.Ability to work with extremely close tolerances (.0005\" to .001\").Experience in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment preferred.Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls.Skilled in grinding, lathe work, and general machine operation.Top Skills:Blueprint ReadingManual MachiningCNC MachiningLathe OperationGrindingMachine Setup & Operation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
