**Job Title: Manual Machinist**
Job Description
Join our unique prototype facility as a Manual Machinist, where you will fabricate rubber rollers used in various machines to very specific measurements. This is a non-repetitive role that demands critical thinking, as each roller is different. You will also set up one of the few CNC Lathes available in our facility.
Responsibilities
+ Fabricate rubber rollers with precision to specific measurements.
+ Utilize critical thinking skills to address unique fabrication challenges.
+ Set up and operate CNC Lathes as required.
+ Ensure high attention to detail in all machining operations.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes.
+ Assist in machine operation and production efforts.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in math and machining techniques.
+ Ability to use a Manual Micrometer.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Attention to detail and critical thinking.
+ Basic computer skills, familiarity with Epicor is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
+ A passion for learning and motivation to contribute to company success.
+ Open to gaining experience in other areas of the shop as needed.

Work Environment
Work in a large, well-lit production shop with a state-of-the-art air purifier ensuring a clean environment. While the machines cause some noise, it remains comfortable to communicate. PPE and uniforms are provided, but candidates must bring their own steel-toed boots. The facility does not have air conditioning or heating, but remains comfortable due to machine operations. Shifts run from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary overtime and flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs. Adjustments are made for weather conditions, ensuring a comfortable work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
