Qualified candidates should be able to do the following:** **Job Description:** + We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to perform a wide range of machine shop operations, including lathe work, drilling, grinding, milling, shaping, and hand tool work. + The role involves repairing and overhauling factory equipment, designing and building manufacturing systems and equipment, and contributing to the development of new tooling and production machines. **Responsibilities:** + Perform all machine shop operations such as lathe work, drilling, grinding, milling, shaping, and hand tool work. + Repair and overhaul factory equipment. + Design and build manufacturing systems and equipment as needed. + Set up procedures to conform finished tooling to desired specifications. + Develop specifications from general descriptions and draw sketches of parts or products. + Assist the Production Manager in the development of new tooling, new systems, and new production machines. + Assist in designing dies and line tooling for new and existing products. **Essential Skills:** + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience operating drill presses and lathes. + Mechanical aptitude and expertise in manual machining. **Why work here?** + Join a thriving manufacturing company that values innovation and skill development. + Enjoy a collaborative work environment with opportunities for overtime and professional growth. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
