Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to work on Bridgeport and other machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at setting up and operating mills and lathes.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, change over, and operate machinery, including up to 4-5 setups per day.Change G codes and M codes on machines.Utilize micrometers and calipers to inspect the quality of pieces.Enter data using a computer system for labor reporting.Run machinery for 80% of the day.Perform data entry for 10% of the day.Clean the area and pack products for the remaining 10% of the day.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC mills and lathes.Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Ability to perform up to 5 setups per day.Experience with G and M codes.Strong math and computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsProgramming experience.CMM experience.Blueprint reading.Troubleshooting skills.Experience with grinders and grinding.Knowledge of mechanical and GD&T principles.Familiarity with brands such as Haas, Bridgeport, and Mori Seiki.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a larger company environment with a team of 30-50 CNC professionals. We offer both 1st shift (6am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3pm) and 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) options, with training provided on the 1st shift. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and appropriate work attire.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
