**Job Title: Manual Lathe Machinist** Job Description Join our team as a CNC Machinist specializing in Horizontal Mills. You will work at our esteemed manufacturing company, renowned for its 90+ years of history in producing essential machinery for vital industries. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce mechanical parts and instruments. Your expertise in mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures will be crucial as you work with close tolerances on materials such as cast iron and stainless steel. Responsibilities + Analyze part dimensions and measure tolerances using micrometers and other measuring devices. + Machine parts to specifications using CNC milling machines. + Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools for precision machining operations. + Align and secure work-holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials into machines. + Use precision measuring devices to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications. + Utilize knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and models to guide machining processes. + Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure quality control. + Direct physical activity to handle, install, position, manipulate, and move objects and parts.
