About The Role:
As the Managing Director for CBRE’s Orlando office, you will oversee a team of real estate professionals delivering transaction and advisory services across all asset classes. This role focuses on business growth, operational performance, talent development, and maintaining a collaborative and productive environment that supports our clients and enhances CBRE’s position in the market.
What You'll Do:
+ Lead high-performing brokerage teams across multiple asset classes (office, industrial, retail, etc.), ensuring alignment with CBRE’s strategic goals.
+ Provide formal supervision, performance management, coaching, and development for brokers and staff.
+ Recruit and retain top brokerage professionals, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
+ Drive business development and market share growth by expanding existing client relationships and capturing new opportunities.
+ Manage office-level P&L, operational efficiency, and profitability in coordination with regional leadership.
+ Champion CBRE’s platform tools and resources to boost broker productivity, client outcomes, and competitive positioning.
+ Collaborate with Regional Group Presidents and Senior Executives on key enterprise initiatives and transformation efforts.
+ Analyze market trends and performance data to inform strategy and improve decision-making.
+ Serve as a visible leader in the community, building CBRE’s reputation through involvement in industry, civic, and professional organizations.

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred (business, real estate, finance, or related field). A combination of education and experience will be considered.
+ 8–12+ years of relevant real estate experience, ideally with proven success in brokerage leadership or operational oversight.
+ Active Florida Real Estate Salesperson License preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage teams—including recruiting, performance management, and employee development.
+ Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profit/loss management.
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in handling sensitive or complex matters.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
+ High-level understanding of market dynamics and asset strategies within commercial real estate.
