Managing Director, Strategic Renewals Job ID 252278 Posted 18-Dec-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Executive Management Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America About The Role: Responsible for leading an early execution strategy for the renewal and retention of existing client business in the Occupier Account space as part of the Americas Solutions team. The Strategic Renewals Leader has the primary responsibility for coordinating CBRE resources / specialists and developing innovative client solutions, assigning roles, driving a pursuit process according to client deadlines, coaching team members, and managing interactions with existing clients. What You'll Do: **Market Facing Activities / Business Development:** Coordinate with Key Clients, Occupier Leaders, Local Market Area (LMA) leaders and brokers on retention pursuits Assemble a multidisciplinary pursuit team for each retention Develop strategies aligned with recasting the solution to address change in client direction, new mandates and needs or overall team performance Lead the development of a tailored “win strategy” for each retention. Collaborate with the Solutions team to manage the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and national /local marketing professionals Participate in client meetings / presentations and lead presentation preparation sessions **General Leadership Skills:** Collaborate cross functionally as a proactive and transparent partner Serve as a change agent for business improvements. Develop buy-in and support for new initiatives and processes. Provide effective presentations to senior management, employees, prospects, and clients. Serve as a key industry and division/line of business/company spokesperson to community. Lead by example to earn respect and trust of peers, employees, and clients. Clearly support others by providing honest, open, two-way communication. Provide appropriate feedback loop to Leadership on relevant issues. Implement or direct the implementation of programs that meet corporate goals and objectives. **What You'll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate salesperson license required. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems + Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. _CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the_ _Managing Director, Strategic Renewals_ _position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary for the_ _Managing Director, Strategic Renewals_ _position is $225,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
