Job Description Summary

The Managing Director, Client Services, Multifamily is responsible for generating property management opportunities within the Eastern United States, including working with a variety of institutional and private ownership groups.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

The Managing Director will use diligence and make the best efforts in executing the following responsibilities:

Create value through new business growth in Residential Portfolios, cross sell service lines and geographic locations for additional revenue for the firm, identify and pursue expansion of service opportunities with existing clientsDevelop specific strategies and goals per client targetCoordinate client needs for acquisition support, due diligence, underwriting, development consulting, asset reviews, operating performance reviews, market analysis, and general support to existing clients to expand the business relationship and revenue stream to Cushman and Wakefield MultifamilyLeverage existing Cushman and Wakefield Multifamily relationships to cultivate business opportunities across the Cushman and Wakefield Multifamily platformAttend and participate in industry association meetings and seminars to keep up to date on trends and changing conditions in the marketplace.Participate in the marketing of the company on a local and regional level as needed.Maintain detailed knowledge of market dynamics within the Eastern United StatesCommunicate regularly with clients to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s services.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree requiredGraduate Degree preferred

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

10+ years of Property Management experience10+ years of Management experienceProven track record of relationship building with institutional and private investorsCPM and/or RPA comparable experience in a Senior Leadership role

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time.
