Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented Manager Systems Engineering 2. This leadership position is located in Redondo Beach, CA or San Diego, CA. This role is 2 parts: approximately15% functional management role and approximately 85% direct charge program role.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE FOLLOWING:
Lead a section of systems engineers (15-20 personnel)Instruct, mentor and champion agile concepts and processesBe responsible for hiring, development, training, and retention of section talent. Hiring will include university and experienced hiring. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of combined technical and management experience, or Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 7 years of combined technical and management experience.Experience in at least one of the following areas: Operations Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Mission Integration or Model Based Systems EngineeringExperience leading an engineering team or projectFamiliarity with AGILE/SCRUM Master, MBSE with CAMEO, DODAF 2.0Familiarity with AFSIM Modeling and SIMMust have a current DoD Secret clearance and a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 5 yearsPrevious experience working in a SAP/SAR environment.Ability to obtain SAP access.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
