Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring a Supply Chain Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization. This position will be located onsite in Iuka, Mississippi.

The Manager of Supply Chain 2 supervises employees who use a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse, as well as supervises employees who maintain records and check invoices or bills of lading. Additionally, this leader oversees the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment, and may assist in selecting appropriate containers and wrapping methods for materials to be shipped or stored. Coordination with engineers, shippers, carton manufacturers, and carpenters for special crating and packing requirements is necessary.

Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Participates in various aspects of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as Supply Chain-Operations. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs, Supplier Quality, Warehouse & Transportation, Analytics, Compliance, Systems, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Manage team to company goals using KPI'sOversee the day-to-day workflow of Warehouse staffConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveHandles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policyMaintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls in the warehouse facilitiesDevelop trend analysis tools examining inventory to effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correctionMain POC on site for inventory across multiple programs.Ability to work cross functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; OR a Master's degree and 3 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent and 9 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar

Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects

Must have inventory management experience

Must have SAP experience

At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Forklift certified

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation

Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Salary Range: $105,800.00 - $158,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
