**Job Site Supervisor** **Pay Rate $20-$25** **Job Description** **We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Site Supervisor with prior experience in dispatch or customer service, preferably within a logistics customer service environment. This role requires strong computer and organizational skills, with training provided on internal systems and Microsoft Office. The successful candidate should be adept at navigating multiple screens and programs.** **Responsibilities** + Dispatch drivers and equipment to ensure efficient utilization and minimize delay time. + Maintain communication and ensure employees have adequate knowledge and resources to accomplish assigned duties. + Administer and support safety to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with DOT regulations and multi-state laws. + Utilize independent judgment to effectively manage work assignments, monitor performance, and provide feedback on duties, policies, and procedures. + Coordinate equipment repair with appropriate maintenance staff to reduce mechanical failures and delays. + Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information. + Meet committed delivery times and ensure quality service. + Confidently make good decisions under time pressure. + Communicate effectively both in person and on the phone with management, customers, and drivers, providing concise instruction or information. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in dispatch operations. + Strong skills in Microsoft Office. + Ability to provide support and manage responsibilities effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable with Microsoft Office/Excel or warehouse management systems. + Comfortable working on the floor. + High school diploma or equivalent. + One year of customer contact experience. + 2-3 years of experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience within the distribution and/or transportation industry is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. The work is conducted in a spacious office and warehouse environment, initially built in 2004, with expansions adding up to 200,000 square feet in total. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
