The Strategic Space System Division has an opening for a Subcontracts Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to support our advanced programs located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities:

Direct Supervision of staff, assigning work priorities and daily assignments necessary to support the program objectivesProvide direction to the team to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, the work will be conducted in an IPT/SMT environment to ensure all aspects of the subcontract - cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance in support of program requirements and commitments are metCo-locate with a multi-functional team and work closely with them to manage a portfolio of critical and complex subcontractsManage a team responsible for development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or servicesPrepare bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontractsNegotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontractsCollaborate with Contract Administration and Purchasing to develop subcontracts policies and proceduresPrepare and present executive level presentations

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of Supply Chain management, Subcontract management experience and/or Contract management experience, plus some leadership/management experience; 6+ years with a Master's or JD degreeActive TS/ SCI DoD clearance or ability to secure SCI clearanceExperience leading a team/process/projectWorking knowledge of SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

Subcontracts experience and familiarity with Space programs and suppliers

Salary Range: $17,000.00 - $255,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
