Major Activities
Manage the ordering, storing, receiving, and distribution process of helium and balloon bar supplies.Analyze data to develop forecasts on key store supply programs, including helium demand for a rapidly growing balloon business.Develop and implement procedures for inventory control and records management.Plan and controls budgets related to supply inventory.Monitor business trends to identify potential shortages and ensure adequate stock levels for distribution.Collaborate with procurement to secure the best vendor/product that meets company objectives.Manage vendor relationships to ensure supply demand can be met and be proactive to provide suggestions if there are risks.Provide visibility to order requests, fulfilment, and shortages.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategy, in-store initiatives and identify issues and opportunities for process simplification and/or cost savings.Other duties as assigned
Preferred Education
BA/BS college degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum Type of Experience Required
5+ years’ professional experience plus 2 years’ retail operations experienceKnowledgeable on facets of retail store operations and proceduresExperience in planning/forecasting/distributing non-retail suppliesOther
