As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking , you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team’s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification in applied Software Engineering  concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExperience leading technology projectsExperience managing technologistsProficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsProven experience (8+ years) in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, spring based technologies in AWS / Cloud environmentStrong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

Strong background in working with APIs (especially Open API), ensuring efficient communication and integration between different systems
