We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
What can you expect?
MMB Advisory’s goal is to provide clients with expertise, insights and advice to help them mitigate people risk and optimize workforce performance. Our health and benefit advisory capabilities include strategy and plan design, workforce health, flexible benefits, plan member communications and actuarial/financial. The MMB Advice & Solutions team is responsible for coordinating people, tools and intellectual capital investments across MMB globally, at the local, regional and global level.
This role requires a local and global view across multiple geographies, a strong desire to learn and understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques and applications. Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and geographies in a highly matrixed organization is preferred as the role will be expected to independently navigate the organization, maintain a level of autonomy within the project management team, and be proactive in seeking guidance as needed. Given the frequent work across lines of business and working in multiple geographies, the role necessitates resourceful and collaborative behaviour. Health & Benefits is a dynamic arena and we would expect the applicant to be engaged and articulate on major global issues confronting employers. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills preferred.

Researching and summarizing findings from peer reviewed papers on various global health-related topics and assisting with multi-country (global and local) survey workSupporting efforts to share research and new intellectual capital with global advice and solution teamsHelping coordinate and standardize global approaches and points of view that are advisory consultants will use with their clientsCreate templates and generate reports based on predefined templatesSupporting call scheduling and project managing streamlined implementation activities, working with vendors, local MMB colleagues across multiple locations and global advice and solution teamsTake the lead in new efficiency opportunities, successful deep dives, process mapping, and execute new process workIndependently assembling and updating presentations for senior management and external audiences using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a fast-paced, ever-changing leadership environmentResearch and help refine intellectual capital and internal marketing materials for key initiatives led by the global Advice and Solution team.What you need to have:
Willingness and ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures.Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Act with a sense of urgency - demonstrating a proactive disposition and a “self-starter” mentality Ownership of delivery on assigned work through self-planning and monitoring of all activitiesIntellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking to solve problems Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful and engaging manner Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail Expertise in developing solutions in setting-up new processes and improving existing operational delivery with best use of lean project management methodologyDemonstrate the ability to analyze large volumes of complex information from various sources and distill key insights and findings Ability to conduct research based off a problem statement, identify possible solutions and synthesize findings into a report.Note: Applicants should be flexible working in shifts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Fluent in EnglishBA/BS Degree, advanced degree in social work, public health, community development or related field preferredExperience of working in onshore/ offshore modelThorough understanding of peer review process / QCAbility to work well within a team environment, and with other colleagues in a collegial, collaborative manner Ability to do multitasking/ manage multiple critical projects at a given point of time with conflicting priorities and being capable of ensuring optimum resourcing either by fast tracking or crashing techniquesAt least 3-5 years’ work / business experience (experience in the insurance or healthcare consulting industry is a plus)Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple and complex tasks in a demanding work environmentDemonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving capabilitiesWillingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilitiesWhat makes you stand out?
