Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Project Management 2 (Infrastructure Management) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals driving high quality program execution through their direct support and performance as a member of the Program Operations team. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely. The position will follow our 9/80 schedule which allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
The successful candidate is expected to be a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of construction processes including design for ICD705 requirements, budgeting, and scheduling. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget—while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersLead cross-functional team including security, engineering, and manufacturing teamsFacilitate communication and coordination among program participantsCollect and define program requirements to provide comprehensive requirements to the architecture firmCreate and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS ProjectTrack progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlinesEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standardsConduct regular site review to verify requirements are being met as designed and expectedProvide regular updates to senior management, and other stakeholdersIdentify risks, issues, and opportunities promptly to maintain project momentumEnsure quick response to Requests for Information (RFI) from the construction and the design teamAttend owner’s meetings with the contractor and facilities as necessaryOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years, or master’s and 6 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries3 years of experience in a Program Management or Program Integration role including planning, executing, and overseeing projectsExperience overseeing and guiding projects from inception to completionProven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and achieving organizational objectivesComprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, manufacturing and engineering test processes, and relevant government regulationsYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the CompanyPreferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
