Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager 2, Supplier Management Team Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida.
The Supplier Management Team (SMT) Lead reports to the Sensor Portfolio Lead. The candidate should have experience managing suppliers who provide hardware and software solutions and will independently evaluate the programmatic and technical trade space. The candidate will lead requirements analysis, technical trade studies, manage risks, recommending down selections, and participate in Supplier Management Team overseeing vendor selection, procurement, and vendor oversight. Strong project management and cross project coordination skills are required.
The SMT Lead will be responsible for:
Coordinating the efforts of the SMT, including engineers, the subcontracts administrator, supplier quality assurance representatives, logistics engineers, schedule planner, and cost/material planner.
Earned value (EV) management of labor and material control accounts
Coordinating and managing the execution of all phases of supplier performance, including planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, and sustainment.
Conducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g., technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, software version description documents).
Reporting supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management.

Manage supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting process
Verify that End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRLs) items are review and dispositioned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below.Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in: project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functionsYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the companyPreferred Qualifications
Experience managing suppliers as part of a government/DOD contract
Experience with T&M, CPFF, FFP contract types
Requirements development/flow down
Technical evaluations of proposals
CAM/EV training
Repair management, DMSMS evaluations, MRP requirements
Experience in supplier statement of work generation

Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
