Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Manager Programs 2 - NIMS** . This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get to Do:
• Responsible for assisting in the tracking and reporting of cost and schedule performance (WPL duties) of the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Navigation Inertial Measurement System (NIMS) supplier; consisting of at least 9 work packages
Assist SMTL with resource management and coordination supporting the Saft contract (I.e. SDS Business Mgmt., SDS security, Sys. Engineering, Test, Specialties Coordination…etc.)
• Assist in the management of NIMS system and sub-systems, including cost, schedule, and technical performance, and maintaining/flowing down of Prime Statement of Work (SOW) and Spec Requirements as required ensuring program compliance
• Coordinates and prepares cost and schedule configuration control board (CCB) packages for baseline change approval
• Monitors adherence to NIMS supplier Integrated Master Schedule, identifies program problems and works with the NIMS CAM to obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
• Develop and present NIMS risks to GN&C leadership and gain approval through the AVE ROMB
• Support and respond to data calls for GN&C leadership; including PER, PMR, RTG, and PSR
• Assist in the management and reporting of the NIMS supplier; including supplier PMRs, weekly leadership tagups, RTG plans, and supplier replan efforts
• Assist in the management of supplier scope and SDRL reviews, tracking, and approvals
• Facilitate collaborative “OneNG” environment between Northrop Grumman and Supplier

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
**You’ll Bring These Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
+ Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP
+ At least one year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
+ At least one year experience as a Work Package Lead (WPL)
+ 1+ years of Project Management skills and toolsets
+ 1+ years of experience with ICBM programs
+ 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management System experience as either a Cost/Schedule Business Management analyst or Control Account Manager
**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**
+ At least 3+ years experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule with proven results
+ At least 3+ years of experience with Agile project management using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools
+ A degree in a science, engineering, or a business program
+ Direct Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
+ Experience working in the Air Vehicle Equipment (AVE) product team
+ Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SAP, and/or SCI access
+ 2 Years supplier management experience on a large, integrated defense program managing major suppliers and IWO partners
+ 8 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team lead or cost account manager
+ 6 years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
+ Competent in standard Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
+ Supplier Management Experience and/or relevant cross-functional team management experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
