Manager Production Control (Aviation Maintenance)

Manager of the Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) SOATB/SIMO support team consisting of 106 people. Direct report to the ATS site lead.
**Responsibilities**
+ Works directly with Lockheed Martin (LM) and government representatives to coordinate aircraft maintenance, flight schedules, and test support requirements for 3 MDS aircraft. Responsible for coordinating on-site and TDY support for SOATB and SIMO missions.
+ Ensures that the MDS supervisors are providing aircraft and personnel to support both the training and testing missions.
+ Ability to lead and direct a team of 106 people in the performance of assigned duties. Direct supervisor for 3 aircraft maintenance supervisors, 11 maintenance test pilots, and 3 ground support equipment mechanics.
+ Coordinates with the ATS passback hangar manager for scheduled and unscheduled support for 34 assigned aircraft.
+ Responsible for creating and briefing multiple reports on SOATB aircraft maintenance status to government, LM, and ATS leadership.
+ Directly involved in personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions of subordinate employees.
+ Monitors and approves timekeeping and training based on established procedures and applications.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
+ Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
+ Minimum 15 years’ experience in aviation maintenance with five years leadership experience.
+ Prior production control experience with multiple MDS aircraft is required.
+ Experience with and knowledge of SOATB operations required.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills. Adept at briefing and presenting information and reports to mixed audiences.
+ Well versed with Microsoft Office products.
+ Solid knowledge of production control applications on ACN, Hydra, and HIVE.
