As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Team, Operations Technology - Service Product,  you will be guiding engineers, overseeing daily tasks, and establishing direction for team output, practices, and collaboration.

Job responsibilities

Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activitiesSets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaborationAnticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirementsAdds to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience         Demonstrated hands-on expertise in modern programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Java and Spring Boot, including designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using industry best practices and contemporary frameworksProven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based applications and services; hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code; and practical experience with AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service) and ECR (Elastic Container Registry) for container orchestration and managementExperience in front end development, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Reacts JS.Experience leading technology projectsProficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
