As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Payments Technology team, you will lead multiple teams, overseeing daily implementation activities. Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activitiesSets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaborationAnticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirementsCreates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.Experience leading technology projects and Experience managing technologistsMinimum 8 years of experience with AWS services, Python, Java, API, Micro services, spring boot and SQLHands-on technical experience in Java with Data backgroundExperience building Data PipelinesProficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience working at code levelExperience in Snowflake, Terraform preferred

Preferred knowledge of big data platforms, middle layer tools like Kafka, MSK AWS service.
