As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Cash Management Technology team, you will promote the team’s success by fostering a collaborative environment, influencing stakeholders, and communicating effectively across all levels.

Team Leadership & Development:

Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of software engineers.Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide coaching and career development opportunities for team members.

Technical Strategy & Architecture:

Set and execute the technical vision for Cash Management systems.Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, resilient Java / Spring Boot applications.Ensure best practices in software engineering, architecture, and DevOps.

Strategic Influence & Communication:

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.Communicate complex technical concepts and business impacts clearly and persuasively.Influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus on strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of systems processing millions of transactions daily.Drive the extraction and delivery of business intelligence from real-time data streams.Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively addressing issues.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience leading software engineering teams, ideally in financial services or high-volume transaction environments.Strong technical background in Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience architecting and building scalable systems.Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and influence others.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Skills

Experience with data streaming, business intelligence, and real-time analytics is highly desirable.Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.Familiarity with predictive algorithms and data science concepts.Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive change.
