Position OverviewThe Manager of Indirect Lending oversees all aspects of dealership-based indirect auto lending. This leader will manage and grow a top-performing dealer network, optimize loan origination processes, maintain credit quality, and drive profitability through strong industry relationships and strategic decision-making. The role requires significant relationship management, analytical strength, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.
Primary Responsibilities Dealer Relationship ManagementBuild, sustain, and expand relationships with auto dealerships to increase loan volume and maintain consistent, high-quality originations.
Dealer Network DevelopmentIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new dealerships aligned with the bank’s indirect lending strategy.
Provide ongoing training and support for successful program adoption.
Performance Monitoring & StrategyAnalyze dealership trends, production metrics, credit performance, and market conditions.
Recommend pricing strategies, product enhancements, and growth initiatives.
Team LeadershipManage staff involved in indirect lending operations.
Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk AwarenessEnsure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and credit-risk protocols.
Required Skills & CertificationsStrong leadership and relationship management skills
Deep understanding of dealership operations and auto finance
Proficiency in credit risk assessment and pricing models
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
Basic proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
Position Details CompensationBase Salary: $135,000 – $155,000
