We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Manager Logistics Operations in Morton, IL.

Job Summary:

As the Manager Logistics Operations, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-shift inbound processing center.

What You Will Do:

Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.Driving improvements for overall operations performance and implementing safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.

Distribution Center Management: Knowledge of distribution center management; ability to operate a warehouse or distribution center that handles the flow of goods from supplier to production to customer.Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies, processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers.Experience with EWMExperience with PowerBiExperience with Microsoft OfficeBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related fieldsPrevious leader of leaders

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
