Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC) plays a vital role in delivering life-saving therapies globally within Care Enablement. With over 35 manufacturing sites and 23 distribution centers, MSC ensures the reliable production and distribution of high-quality devices for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and acute care—reaching patients in approximately 150 countries.
The team oversees the full supply chain from manufacturing to delivery, focusing on operational excellence, product availability, and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare providers. Join our passionate team and help shape healthcare worldwide!
**_Summary about role:_**
The Logistics Lead Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing logistics, warehousing (3PL operations), transportation, and distribution activities across India. The role will ensure seamless operations with strong cost management, excellent service levels, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This position will manage three regional logistics resources along with 3PL officials across current locations, with responsibility to scale operations for future business growth. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, operationally strong, an effective team coach, and a strategic problem solver who can drive performance improvements, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maintaining cost consciousness and foresight.
**_Responsibility:_**
Your Responsibilities:
+ Act as the key interface between Sales teams, Distributors/Hospitals, and 3PL service providers managing warehouse operations across India.
+ Direct, optimise, and coordinate the end-to-end order cycle to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction.
+ Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and guidelines across warehouse distribution, 3PL, transportation, and logistics cost management.
+ Manage inventories to support business growth, internal teams, and external customers efficiently.
+ Drive initiatives to improve Customer Experience and achieve Target Service Levels in alignment with business policies and an effective distribution model.
+ Coach, guide, and develop regional logistics team members for optimal performance and succession readiness.
+ Lead and facilitate cross-functional initiatives within supply chain and business units to drive strategic goals.
+ Ensure Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), Quality, and EHS compliance as per company guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
+ Partner with Order Management, Distribution Centres, and 3PL to achieve business objectives.
+ Provide inputs for negotiation and finalisation of freight rates with transporters while identifying cost reduction opportunities.
+ Develop new transporter relationships, evaluate alternate and cost-effective transportation modes, and optimise warehouse operations to drive savings.
+ Coordinate with Planning teams to optimise inventory turns, minimise excess and obsolete inventory, and avoid write-offs.
+ Drive departmental KPIs and implement efficiency initiatives to achieve economies of scale and reduce costs.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy through periodic stock counts and robust SOP implementation at warehouses.
+ Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements related to commercial operations, QA, and RA guidelines.
+ Drive Weekly Near Expiry MIS for liquidation of stocks and monitor slow/non-moving inventory for proactive action.
+ Formulate annual budgets and forecasts based on inventory analysis and business trends.
+ Ensure strict compliance of FG imports to QA & RA guidelines.
+ Lead Monthly S&OP meetings and present key takeaways to stakeholders at appropriate levels.
+ Perform any other responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.
**_Candidate’s profile:_**
Your Profile:
+ Graduate in any discipline. Full-time Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred.
+ Post-graduation in Supply Chain/Operations Management will be an added advantage.
+ 10-15 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Warehousing (3PL operations), Transportation Management, and team leadership roles.
+ Strong operational knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
+ Proven experience in leading teams, driving operational efficiencies, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across levels.
+ Ability to manage conflicts, build consensus, and drive decisions in a complex operational environment.
+ Strong foresight to anticipate risks, plan contingencies, and scale logistics operations for future business growth.
